Preparation is key

Cannabis can be one of the best experiences you’ve ever had or plain and boring. Mine was really confusing, actually. The first four times were really confusing for me. However, that all depends on how you prepare, what kind of cannabis you use, and how much.

Smoke at your own pace

If you want to have an easy, fun and probably one of the best first-time highs ever keep reading and we’ll try and help you have one you’ll never forget. Most people will try to direct you in a way that, in all fairness, seems fun and tailored to THEIR smoking experiences. However, these individuals may have been smoking for years and don’t know that this is your first time.

Smoking for the first time should be fun

Smoking cannabis for the first time should be and is often quite fun. Honestly, I didn’t get high the first time I smoked. I started noticing the effects after about the fourth or fifth time I tried it. The point here is that if you’re scared, you shouldn’t be. I also don’t blame your fear because for as long as cannabis has been cannabis, it’s gotten a bad rap from every single angle and aspect imaginable. But here’s the thing, The cannabis industry is growing faster than any other industry in the world and with that comes the fall of stigmas and myths.

Cannabis is becoming more mainstream

When new advancements in technology comes new evidence that backs up the benefits of cannabis and what it might do for you. So if you’re looking to jump onto the Toasty Express, here are a few tips for you for your first ride.

Tip #1 Start simple

Don’t worry about the bongs, the pipes, the shatters, the oil, all that stuff, you’re going to get confused. All you need is a simple joint. This simple little meager stick of wonders can make your life so much better.

Tip #2 Take your time

You’re going to get people left and right telling you how to hit it, what you should hit it with, how to do it, when to do all this stuff and all that good jazz. That’s all good, however, this is your first go. Find what is right for you and take your time. I’m not saying that you shouldn’t listen to other people in their recommendations, but this is your first go. It should be something that you feel comfortable with. If you feel like one or two hits is more than enough, then that’s what it is.

Tip #3 Choose your strain

Picking a strain in our current environment can be a very daunting task, especially if you know nothing about cannabis, let alone the types there are. You should first know that there are three main types of cannabis indica, sativa and hybrids. Secondly is that there are no bad strains of cannabis. There are, however, some that might not be best for your first time. For example, a high-THC strain may not be the best choice if you want something calming and relaxing. In that case, you should go with a smaller THC percentage or strain with more CBD than THC.

Some great strains for beginners

A few excellent strains for beginners would be blue dream, wedding cake, super lemon haze or sour OG. These strains are viral for a reason. Most veterans in the game of cannabis started out with these strains and they were easy to ride along with, making them making the experience much more enjoyable.

Cannabis shouldn’t be stigmatized

Cannabis shouldn’t be stigmatized, especially in our current environment, and even more now with the amount of evidence that’s coming out every single day. In my personal opinion, it should be seen as an excellent alternative to some modern medicines that do more harm than good. That’s just my opinion.
