About Papa & Barkley

Papa & Barkley is a California-based cannabis brand providing relief and healing through various products, like edibles, tinctures, transdermal patches, and what it all began with—topicals. Each product contains a carefully crafted blend targeted toward specific solutions, including relaxation, sleep, stress, pain, wellness, recovery, and even menstrual cramps. They’re on a mission to improve people’s lives through the power of cannabis.

Founded in 2014, founder Adam Grossman set out to create a product that would relieve his father’s debilitating back pain. He made his first batch of their now-famous Papa & Barkley Releaf Balm in a borrowed Crock-Pot and shared it with his father and friends, who found relief in the cannabis concoction. A true homegrown brand, Papa & Barkley is named and branded after Grossman’s father and his beloved dog.

Though the brand has expanded well beyond the balm, Papa & Barkley still put the same amount of love and care into their products. To make their whole plant full spectrum, oil, pressure, and heat are used to preserve the benefits and flavors of the cannabis. They only use sanitary products and materials; no harmful chemicals or pesticides are involved in their solventless process.
